Be an ambassador for your library – get involved with your Local Friends chapter!

Local Friends are a valued part of our library community. Chapter members help strengthen connections between the library and community leaders, bring diverse perspectives to the table, and support key fundraising efforts. For example, many Local Friends groups organize used book sales to help fund library programs and grow our nationally recognized collection.
