Wayzata Library serves the community of Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka. In 1905, the library operated within Wayzata City Hall. When the building was destroyed by fire in 1955, the library moved temporarily to space within the Kallestad Building. In 1957, Wayzata Library reopened in the new Wayzata City Hall. Its current location in Wayzata Town Square offers a stunning view of Lake Minnetonka.
