Spacious Southdale Library, part of a larger complex that houses district courts, was the second library built in the City of Edina. At the time of its opening in 1973, this library offered suburban Hennepin County a new level of library service with its large collection of reference and popular materials. 

Friends of Southdale Library

Friends of Southdale Library is a volunteer-run organization whose mission is to support the Southdale Library and uplift the spirit of the surrounding community. As ambassadors for the library, Friends of Southdale Library members advocate for community needs and help promote library programs and services.
