Free Author EventSeptember 20, 2010; 7 p.m. at the Southdale Library

The Friends of the Southdale Library are excited to announce "An Author's Evening."

Special guests are Leanne Knott, Red Wing, MN, who has published two historical novels set on the North Shore. The Keeper's Daughter and Leviathan Shore focus on life along Lake Superior at the turn of the century.

Patti Zona's The Value of a Homemaker isn't just any ordinary memoir--it's also about corporate structures and the demands they make at the cost of a family. This is a true story of a single woman fighting the corporate giants for acceptance and acknowledgement of her being.

Both authors will speak, books will be available for purchase and light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
