Friends of the Hennepin County Library is pleased to announce the 18th season of Pen Pals, the highly regarded and longest running literary series in the Twin Cities.



The 2014-15 Pen Pals season offers an eclectic range of presenters from different genres who have collectively written, critiqued or created thousands of books.

New subscriptions are now on sale online, through the mail or over the phone.

Individual tickets go on sale online on August 11; however, Friends of HCL is taking mail pre-orders. Pre-orders will be placed after season subscription sales close and will be placed in the order in which they are received.

*Due to event capacity and popular demand, individual tickets are not being sold to the special kick-off event with Joyce Carol Oates and only limited seating is still available for subscribers. Staff will confirm seating availability upon receipt.

Proceeds from the program benefit Friends of the Hennepin County Library (Friends of HCL).
