The Friends of the North Regional Library (North Regional Friends) group is forming this fall, 2011. The Friends of the Hennepin County Library (Friends of HCL) are working to organize the new organization. If you are interested in getting involved in the new North Regional Friends, please contact Amy Shaunette at the Friends of HCL: ashaunette@hclib.org or 612-543-8109.

Please note that memberships in the North Regional Friends are welcome while the group is forming this fall. North Regional Friends memberships are being managed by the Friends of HCL until the group is fully established and will be dedicated to the support of the North Regional Library. All local Friends groups in the Hennepin County system, including the new North Regional Friends, are coordinated by the Friends of the Hennepin County Library (Friends of HCL). The Friends of HCL offers a collaborative membership option so when you join you can also become a Friend of your local library, including North Regional, at the same time. Friends of HCL membership supports critical system-wide needs such as book purchases, teen and children’s programs, and outreach services that benefit all 41 libraries, while your local Friends membership helps your favorite library at the same time.
