With the 12th largest public library collection in the country and 5th largest circulation rate, the Hennepin County Library’s collection is in constant and high demand. Last year, 16.6 million items were borrowed from our 41 libraries - that’s an average of 14.9 books per capita.
For every $25 donated, the Library is able to purchase one book, on average, for its collection. 100% of your donation will go to book and collections purchases at the Library.
All donors of $25 or more will receive a 1-year membership to the Library Foundation with benefits including discounts at local independent bookstores, a subscription to our newsletter, and invitations and discounts to special events, including the Holiday Toast. Learn more about membership.
