In Honor of Earth Day

Richard Louv is a journalist and author of eight books about the connections between family, nature and community. Louv’s first book, Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder, was translated into 10 languages and published in 15 countries. His newest book, The Nature Principle: Human Restoration and the End of Nature-Deficit Disorder, offers a new vision of the future, in which our lives are as immersed in nature as they are in technology. A recipient of numerous awards for his research and writing, Louv has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, National Public Radio, and elsewhere.

Program is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-served. Program begins at 2 PM. Doors open at 1:15 PM. Book sale and signing follow presentation. For more information: 612.543.8107.
