Donating to our Book Store: The Friends of the Hennepin County Library Book Store accepts donations of books, videos, music CDs, magazines, and vinyl LP’s. All donations are tax-deductible and we can issue a tax receipt when you drop off your items. You may bring your donations to the Book Store, located in the Minneapolis Central Library. Please call 612.543.8111 or email our book store manager, if you have any questions about items you may be interested in donating.

Donating to a local Friends group: Many local Friends groups throughout the system also accept donations of materials to resale at their local book sales. Visit the local Friends section to contact individual groups to find out about their donation policies and needs.
