On December 6, beloved journalist and novelist Calvin Trillin will present his new book Dogfight: An Occasionally Interrupted Narrative Poem About the Presidential Campaign and the paperback edition of Quite Enough of Calvin Trillin: Forty Years of His Funny Stuff, as part of the Friends of the Hennepin County Library’s Talk of the Stacks series.
ABOUT TALK OF THE STACKS:
Talk of the Stacks, a free author series exploring contemporary literature and culture, is held at the Hennepin County Library – Minneapolis Central in Pohlad Hall (300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55401). The program is free and open to the public. Book sales/signing follows the presentation. Seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 6:15 PM and program begins at 7 PM.

ABOUT CALVIN TRILLIN:
A journalist, humorist, food writer, poet, and novelist, Calvin Trillin is the author of more than 20 books and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. From food (in American Fried and Third Helpings) to his wife (in the best-seller About Alice) to politics (in Deciding the Next Decider and Obliviously On He Sails), Trillin does not shy away from any topic. He will present two books: the paperback edition of Quite Enough of Calvin Trillin: Forty Years of His Funny Stuff (a humorous collection of excerpts from his writing career) and the newly released Dogfight: An Occasionally Interrupted Narrative Poem About the Presidential Campaign (a roast to the 2012 presidential elections).
