November 15, 2012 was Give to the Max Day for the state of Minnesota. Give to the Max is an online giving campaign to encourage residents to support nonprofits throughout the State.
The Friends of the Hennepin County Library received $55,455 in new donations from 525 donors through the Give MN website, securing a $5,000 matching grant from a generous friend Rebecca Wright. This amazing show of support put Friends of HCL as #26 on the leader board for the most money raised amongst the 4,381 participating nonprofits.
Thanks for Giving to the Max again this year! Your support makes a difference for everyone who uses the Hennepin County Library’s extraordinary services and resources. The numbers are staggering: last year, 5.8 million people visited the Library, checked out more than 17.5 million items and attended more than 210,000 free programs. This wouldn’t be possible without an active community of dedicated supporters, like you.
